Understanding generator droop voltage control
Power park modules are required by network codes to provide droop voltage power control at the point of connection (POC) to the grid. This paper contains a thorough analysis of the droop voltage control scheme of power park modules by comparing it with the usual terminal voltage control scheme of synchronous generators in small-test cases. Moreover, it explains the impact of generators under droop voltage control on the power flow solution.
