The Role of Non-Profit Organizations in Building a Harmonious Society
Non-profit organizations play an important role in the social security system. Their flexibility, resource integration capabilities, and public welfare attributes make them a vital complement to the functions of government and the market. This paper starts with the theoretical foundation to analyze the alignment between non-profit organizations and social security, exploring their specific roles in providing services, promoting policy advocacy, and establishing collaborative networks. Through case analysis, the paper summarizes the practical experiences of non-profit organizations, further examining the advantages and challenges they face in participating in social security. Finally, it proposes pathways to enhance the participation of non-profit organizations in social security, including institutional support, capacity building, multi-party cooperation, and raising public awareness, offering both theoretical and practical recommendations for non-profits to better serve the social security system. This paper aims to provide profound insights into the role of non-profit organizations in social security and contribute to the construction of a diversified and sustainable social security system.
