The modern development of the pension system in the current socioeconomic and legal conditions is due to a number of features and problems. In Russia, multiple reforms of the pension system are associated with one of the most acute problems — the financial security of the pension system in the long and short term. The article examines the problem areas of the modern Russian pension system, presents prospects for its improvement.
