LoRaWAN Security Framework to Mitigate DoS Attacks at the Gateway Level using Machine Learning
LoRaWAN, a popular protocol for low power wide area networks, is mainly used in Internet-of-Things oriented applications because of its ability to communicate over long distances and energy efficiency. Nonetheless, the security measures of the protocol have been discovered to be susceptible to different forms of attacks like eavesdropping, replay, flooding, jamming and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. This study offers a thorough examination of security concerns and evaluates current remedies. In addition, we suggest a new method to reduce DoS attack by implementing machine learning approach to enhance the security of LoRaWAN networks.
