Design and Simulation of Telemetry Antenna Based on Electromagnetic Vortex Technology
The existing telemetry technology is unable to meet the growing demand for high-speed and high-capacity transmission of flight test telemetry data. As the front-end of telemetry systems for transmitting and receiving signals, the role of telemetry antennas cannot be ignored. By combining telemetry antenna design technology with Orbital angular momentum (OAM) electromagnetic vortex technology, a telemetry antenna based on telemetry C-band can be proposed. The results show that this telemetry antenna can stably generate multiple modes of OAM beams within the working frequency band, and the beams have good rotation and symmetry, confirming its effectiveness and feasibility. Exploring new telemetry antenna technologies in the new telemetry frequency band can achieve integration and miniaturization of telemetry antennas, and to a certain extent, improve spectrum utilization.
