SCM and CPM Enhancement with AI
Technology has transformed the supply chain industry by improving transaction authentication, transparency, efficiency, and trust. This study explores advancements in supply chain management, focusing on traceability, smart contracts, inventory management, and regulatory compliance in sectors like food, agriculture, healthcare, retail, and automotive. Emphasis is placed on mitigating the bullwhip effect and integrating tools such as the PERT network to reduce delays and critical path times. Despite challenges such as scalability, regulatory compliance, and industry acceptance, AI has the potential to revolutionize supply chain processes, enhancing decentralization, transparency, and tracking from source to delivery. Widespread adoption is hindered by the expertise needed for implementation and varying government regulations. Over time, transparency-based technology is likely to replace traditional processes.
