Optimization of Energy Conservation in WSN

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are the fastestgrowing technology for many application services. Weather monitoring, traffic forecasts, reconnaissance, and academic research are included. Security measures are the best test for wireless communication system issues since sensor nodes are scattered in remote areas. An energy-efficient technique of the Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) called the Stable Election Protocol (SEP) extends the lifespan of heterogeneous wireless sensor networks. Energy inequality reduces performance and longevity regardless of the situation. Adding node vitality to cluster head selection reduces cluster head energy consumption; using interim nodes reduces cluster node energy consumption. Heterogeneous-aware SEP extends the stable period before the first node passes. Certain applications require consistent sensor input, hence this protocol is needed. Each node's weighted election choice probability to become cluster head determines SEP success. The results show that the Proposed Efficient (PE-SEP) SEP methodology changes energy utilization to increase longevity dramatically. Compare the LEACH and SEP protocols with the upgraded SEP algorithm and the proposed SEP (PE-SEP) algorithm in MATLAB R2021a.
