A Comparative Study on the Echo-Signal Modeling of Sea-Targets Based on Semi-Deterministic Facet Scattering Model with Shooting-Bouncing Ray
On the basis of the scattering center method (SCM), the semi-deterministic facet scattering model (SDFSM) and the shooting-bouncing ray (SBR) method are used to establish two types of radar echo-signal simulation models (RESSM) for composite scenarios of sea-targets in this paper, namely the delay model and the spectrum model. Furthermore, the linear frequency modulated continuous wave (LFMCW) was used as input to simulate the RESSM of a quasi-static composite scenario of a sea-target, respectively by two models. The radar echo amplitude distribution is counted, and the one-dimensional high resolution range profile (HRRP) are respectively computed, which verifies the accuracy of the two methods.
