Blockchain-based Universal Basic Income System
This project presents a conceptual design for a decentralized Universal Basic Income (UBI) system implemented on the blockchain. Leveraging smart contracts, the system autonomously distributes regular payments to individuals living below a predefined income threshold, eliminating the need for intermediaries or government intervention. The system allows users to register, update their income status, and receive payments securely through blockchain transactions. While the provided Solidity code offers a basic framework for the UBI system, further development is required to address identity verification, governance, funding mechanisms, and regulatory compliance. Overall, the project lays the foundation for a transparent, efficient, and inclusive UBI solution driven by blockchain technology.
