Comparative Analysis of Vedic and Scientific Color Representations of Planets Using Discrete Event Simulation and Delta E Metrics

This study presents a comparative analysis of Vedic and scientific color representations of celestial bodies, focusing on their visual correspondence and accuracy. By employing Discrete Event Simulation (DES) methods and Delta E calculations, we assess the color differences between traditional astrological colors and their scientifically observed counterparts. The analysis encompasses seven planets: the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn. Each planet's color is represented in both Vedic astrology and scientific observation, with Delta E metrics computed to quantify the perceptual differences. The result of 64.14% accuracy indicate that while some planetary colors align closely (with Delta E values of zero), others exhibit significant disparities, particularly for Mercury and Venus. This research highlights the effectiveness of DES in simulating and evaluating color accuracy, providing insights into the intersection of astrological interpretation and scientific observation in planetary color representation.
