Enhancing Soil Fertility Predictions with Sequential Models: A Path to Sustainable Crop Production
Soil is the critical factor and a vital resource for plants. Soil fertility is essential for supporting crop growth through the provision of nutrients and favorable chemical, physical, and biological conditions. Farmers are usually well-informed about their agricultural fields, but poor soil fertility can lead to reduced yields. Numerous models have been developed to analyze and predict soil fertility using Data-driven algorithms. However, these models often lack accuracy when the number of analyzed properties increases. Existing models typically focus on a limited number of soil features, making it difficult to incorporate additional factors as needed. To address these challenges, the Sequential model has been introduced. This model is effective at adapting to new soil features and can enhance accuracy in predictions. By using the Sequential model, we aim to enhance soil fertility predictions that will consequently increase crop yields.
