Area-Selective Microwave Heating in Cylindrical Cavity Based on Phased Antenna Array
Area-selective microwave heating will influence the future of modulating heating. However, the existing area-selective microwave heating system is complex and the process is cumbersome. This paper presents a phased antenna array setting in a cylindrical cavity, achieving area-selective microwave heating. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed phased antenna array have the ability of independent area-selective heating in cylindrical cavity, which has great potential for applications that require precise control of the heating area.
