Identification and Prevention of Defected Plants using Hanging Robot
Farmers form the natural community for their contribution over natural products. Agriculture not only has an effect over the imports and exports but also has an effect over the GDP of the entire country. The proportionality of the cultivation and the yield is not equal in the present ages. This is due to the diseases that are being affected to the plants by the surrounding. The diseases caused may be due to the natural environmental changes or the artificial chemicals that comes in contact with the plants. This may be prevented by developing an automation system or by implementing more manpower which is not possible. The past systems consist of only monitoring systems. Hence, we have proposed a system with hanging robot to overcome the above-mentioned situations. The proposed hanging robot is a setup which senses the defected plants using color sensor. After detecting the infected plants, the pesticides are sprayed over the crops at correct proportionality to cure the infected plants. The pesticides used can be changed according to the crops that is harvested in the field. Further parameters, which also determine the crop growth like the temperature, moisture can also be detected by adding respective sensors.
