Energy Efficient- Secure Routing (EE-SR) for Secure Data Sharing in Large Scale Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks

MANETs are networks that function autonomously, without reliance on external infrastructure. Because of the random node mobility, the MANET topology is affected with unexpected and sudden changes. Group key management is implemented in this paper to demonstrate Energy Efficient-Secure Routing (EE-SR). Here, Asymmetric key cryptography is used with two effective nodes called, the Examiner Key (EK) and the Allocation Key (AK). These nodes are responsible for generating, distributing and verifying the secret keys. The secret keys may therefore be provided without requiring further computations from other nodes. The nodes are selected according to their ratings of node trust and energy consumption. A large fraction of current routing protocols need each node to produce and distribute its secret key, which increases the energy dispersion of the system. A hacked node should also result in security flaws. The security of the whole network is unaffected when nodes other than the EK and AK are hacked. Numerous testing’s are carried out while accounting for the intended and existing approaches. Performance evaluations show that the suggested methodology performs better than the existing techniques.
