Design of UWB Antenna Derived from Miniaturized Electromagnetic Structures Using WBAN Applications

The design of Ultra-Wideband (UWB) antennas for Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) applications presents several challenges, including miniaturization, performance stability, and human body proximity effects. This paper proposes a novel UWB antenna design derived from miniaturized electromagnetic structures for WBAN applications, ensuring optimal performance for real-time health monitoring and medical diagnostics. The design integrates advanced miniaturization techniques and electromagnetic optimization to enhance performance while maintaining a compact size. Simulation and measurement results demonstrate significant improvements in size reduction, bandwidth, and interaction mitigation with human tissue. Furthermore, the antenna’s biocompatible materials ensure safety during prolonged use, making it a suitable choice for wearable and implantable medical devices. This design enables safer and more efficient medical diagnostics and treatment methods, making it an essential tool in advanced healthcare applications.
