Book Section of the Central House of Scientists of the RAS (1953–2024)

The Section of the Moscow House of Scientists of the USSR Academy of Sciences (now – the Central House of Scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences) was founded on the initiative of the President of the Academy S.I. Vavilov. In the first years of its activity, it became the most authoritative book science public association in the country. In 2023, the Book Section celebrated its 70th anniversary and continues its work, maintaining its commitment to the academic level of reports and a wide thematic scope. It is remained the only informal platform for scientists to meet and approbation of scientific papers, candidate and doctoral dissertations, and monographs.
