Aim: To compare the outcomes of single and two stage repairs in the treatment of proximal penile hypospadias This is a retrospective study comparing the outcomes of single Materials and Methods: and two stage repairs in proximal penile hypospadias. In the period of 2017 to 2024, 83 patients with proximal penile hypospadias have been operated in our institution. The mean age of presentation was 6.3 years. There was no Conclusion: signicant difference in the complication rate following single or two stage repairs (p value is 0.11876). There was no recurrence of chordee in any of the patients included in the study. The main advantage with single stage repair was a reduced number of surgeries, whereas with two stage surgeries it is very effective in patients planned for redo urethroplasties. Surgeon preference also plays a major role in deciding the type of surgery planned for proximal penile hypospadias.
