Prevalence of Accommodative Insufficiency in Children With Normal Accommodative-Convergence/Accommodation Ratio and Its Association With Refractive Error: A Cross-Sectional Study
In this study, with an overall AI prevalence of 32.4%, the ability to maintain comfortable, clear, and effective vision is notably affected by accommodative dysfunction alone, even when AI and convergence insufficiency (CI) coexist. Our investigation found no correlation between refractive error and the AA.
