China's corruption and changes in its relationships with Central Asian countries
The relationship between China and Central Asia has developed steadily over the past decades. In particular, China is strengthening its influence in the region through cooperation with Central Asian countries. One of the main reasons for the development of this relationship is that the level of awareness of corruption in China is gradually increasing. This can act as an important factor in increasing trust between the two countries and strengthening long-term cooperative relations. Therefore, this study empirically analyzed the impact of corruption in China on relations with five Central Asian countries. Improving corruption in China means improving political, social, and economic transparency, which can play a positive role in strengthening economic relations with Central Asian countries. China's transparency can make economic relations with Central Asian countries stronger and more sustainable. It is of great significance in that it can be an important foundation for long-term and stable economic cooperation between the two regions.
