Balance, Gait and Foot Pressure Distribution in Neuropathic Pain Associated with Lumbar Disc Degeneration
Although participants with NP had higher levels of pain severity in gait and disability, there was no difference in postural balance, dynamic plantar pressure distribution, and spatiotemporal gait parameters compared to participants with LDD without NP and healthy individuals. All participants with LDD were unilaterally affected. Therefore, postural balance and gait tasks would be able to compensate for the unaffected limb.
