DAI-BO Integrated Intelligent Lens Beamforming for Dynamic 5G Network Optimization

This study introduces the DIA-BO (DAI-Beam Optimization) 5G Algorithm tailored for the optimization of 5G network coverage within dynamic device-to-device environments. The algorithm seamlessly integrates lens-based beamforming with the Distributed Artificial Intelligence Solution (DAIS) framework. Specifically crafted for 5G networks, the algorithm leverages lens beamforming to focus radio signals, enhancing coverage and transmission efficiency. DAI-BO adapts the DAIS planning mechanism to accommodate lens beamforming characteristics. Employing Belief-Desire-Intention (BDIx) agents with fuzzy logic, the algorithm optimizes transmission mode selection to maximize spectral efficiency and minimize power consumption. Its adaptability to dynamically changing network topologies resulting from user mobility is demonstrated through extensive evaluations under various simulation conditions involving mobile user attributes. Comparative performance assessments against alternative approaches involve modeling scenarios with parameter variations, including user speed, transmission power levels, and device densities. The analysis affirms the algorithm's prowess in maintaining optimal coverage across intricate 5G environments by efficiently adapting to dynamic conditions. This research underscores the advantages of intelligently applying lens beamforming, optimized by the DAI- BO 5G Algorithm, to dynamically enhance 5G network coverage using artificial intelligence.
