Valoración de una propuesta pedagógica basada en el uso de TIC para el desarrollo del componente espacial métrico en estudiantes de séptimo grado

The use of ICT in secondary education presents challenges that hinder its effective implementation. These challenges include inadequate time management, excessive dependence on technology, and the lack of a committed approach both in the family environment and in educational institutions. These difficulties hinder the acquisition of digital competencies and limit their transformative potential in the educational process, so it is essential to address these barriers in order to take full advantage of their educational value and promote meaningful and critical learning in secondary education students especially in mathematics training. In this framework, the main objective of the research was to analyze the relationship between the metric spatial component and different dimensions of the use of information technologies. For this purpose, a research was carried out under the quantitative approach, with a non-experimental design, of descriptive correlational scope, in which measurements of both variables were implemented in a sample of 67 seventh grade students of the secondary level from different educational institutions of the municipality of Boyacá. The results indicate a statistically significant correlation between both variables.
