Tiken Jah, Awadi et Ibaaku : L’Afrique du futur en musique
On an African continent in search of unity since the creation of the U.A.O (Organizationof African Unity) in 1963, became U.A (African Union) in 2002, an Afrofuturist aesthetic is identifiable in some works of musical artists. These musicians artists, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Didier Awadi and Ibaaku sing with confidence an Africa of future towards which we are tending and which awaits us .How do they desribe this utopian Africa of the future? In what musical works? Should we believe in their? In this sense, we are talking about a hermeneutic of their musical opus to defend the thesis that Africa of the future is not a chimera, but a utopia that is right to hope for.KEYWORDS:Afrofuturism –aesthetic –utopia –Africa of future
