San village communities, like other African societies, had traditional institutions that reflected order, discipline and a certain hierarchy in their organisation. This study focuses on the role of mythico-religious and warrior federations in San societies. To carry out this study, it is first necessary to compile a bibliography and carry out oral surveys. The aim of the study is to provide an understanding of how the traditional organisational institutions of San society functioned. To do this, it is important to retrace the history of the federations and show their impact on the lives of the people.
