PRE OPERATIVE 3D VOLUMETRIC DSA: A TOOL IN ASSESSING INTRACRANIAL ANEURYSMS
Title- Pre Operative 3D volumetric DSA: A tool in assessing Intracranial Aneurysms Background- Subarachnoid Haemorrhage is a life threatening condition with high mortality and morbidity. Most common cause of spontaneous SAH remains the rupture of intracranial aneurysms and therefore it is essential to have a comprehensive knowledge about it's anatomy and morphology. 3d Dsa serves a great tool for the same and this study shades a light on techniques and importance of 3d Dsa in assessment of intracranial aneurysms prior to surgical management. Aim- To understand morphology of aneurysm using 3d Dsa Materials And Method- In this retrospective study, we analyse 50 cases of intracranial aneurysms to determine anatomy and morphology using 3d DSA technique. Results- Image obtained from 3d dsa interpreted on the basis of their size, location, neck. All the cases were analysed with respect to their age and gender. Conclusion- 3d Dsa serves a great tool for preoperative evaluation of intracranial aneurysms.
