Sosialisasi Bahaya Merokok pada Peserta Didik Sekolah Dasar Negeri 27 Pekanbaru melalui Media Poster

Smoking culture is one of the problems that is quite urgent today because of the high number of smokers in Indonesia. The magnitude of the dangers of smoking to health is a concern considering that there are currently many active smokers from among children and adolescents. To overcome this, children need to get education as early as possible regarding the content of cigarettes and the dangers of smoking to their health. One of the efforts made is the delivery of messages and information through poster media. This service activity was carried out at SDN 27 Pekanbaru in July 2022. The media used as a transmitter of information was posters. Posters are posted at several points on the school site. The data collection instrument used were documentation and questionnaire of students' knowledge and awareness about the dangers of smoking. The results of this activity indicate that the poster media of the dangers of smoking can be used as a way to increase students' knowledge and awareness about the content and dangers of smoking
