CERVICO-CRANIAL SYNDROME OR CRANIOCERVICAL JUNCTION SYNDROME

The cervico-cranial syndrome or cranio-cervical junction syndrome, Barre Lieou syndrome, are a group of syndromes, translated by a symptomatic polymorphism caused by the impairment of the sympathetic neurovegetative system, cranio-cervical in the sense of increased activity, hyperreactivity, frequently dysautonomic. This is due either to contusion of the cervical segment C1–C7, or to various pathologies of the structures of this segment, or to its degenerative pathology, each taken independently, or associated in various forms.
