Monitoring cable channels and cable methods based on visible light and infrared temperature measurement technology

This study proposes a combination of visible light and infrared temperature measurement and monitoring techniques for regular and conditional triggering, in response to the regulatory requirements of the State Grid Corporation of China that transmission cables should be regularly inspected and maintained to ensure their safe and reliable operation, as well as common cable condition monitoring methods in the power industry. Through visible light and infrared temperature measurement and photography, cable tunnels or cable wells can be monitored. Visible light photography can detect external physical damage, foreign objects, leaks, and other abnormal situations by capturing real-time images of cable tunnels or wells; Infrared temperature measurement and photography, by measuring the infrared radiation temperature on the surface of the cable, achieve real-time monitoring of temperature anomalies in the cable, accurately determine temperature anomalies, and solve the problem of how to ensure the long-term use of visible light and infrared temperature monitoring technology in a passive state. It can timely detect abnormal situations of cable overheating and provide timely warning and repair, avoiding accidents and potential losses, to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the cable system. Operational security problems under the complex operating environment of the scheduling and operation platform's multi-service systems.
