Exploring Personalized Information Organization Strategies Using Obsidian in Higher Education
In an era overwhelmed by vast amounts of information and pressing deadlines, digital content management tools have become crucial for mitigating information overload. These tools assist both organizations and individuals by making information clear, transparent, searchable, and easily accessible, while also ensuring the integrity and security of data. This paper discusses the application of Obsidian, a personal knowledge base and note-taking software in higher education. The research involved 36 university students who used Obsidian to organize and connect notes from extensive digital content. The key finding of this study is that individuals have distinct and personalized preferences for information sorting strategies, whose identification and application can significantly enhance the efficiency of information usage and optimize human cognitive processes in personalized digital learning and working environments. Additionally, these strategies may have significant potential in dynamically reconfigurable VR workspace solutions.
