Effectiveness of Mulligan SNAGs for Lumbar Pain: Immediate and Short-Term Outcomes
Background: Low back pain (LBP) is a prevalent musculoskeletal condition and a leadingcause of disability worldwide. Mulligan Sustained Natural Apophyseal Glides (SNAGs) aremanual therapy techniques aimed at reducing pain and improving range of motion (ROM), yettheir comparative effectiveness against other interventions remains underexplored. Objective: To evaluate the immediate and short-term effectiveness of Mulligan SNAGs onpain intensity, lumbar ROM, and muscle thickness compared to McKenzie MechanicalDiagnosis and Therapy (MDT) and conventional physiotherapy (PT).
