Implementasi Kebijakan Pencegahan Perkawinan pada Usia Anak oleh Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk, Keluarga Berencana, Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Kabupaten Buleleng

Child marriage remains a prevalent social issue in Indonesia, including in Buleleng Regency. This study aims to analyze the implementation of child marriage prevention policies carried out by the Office of Population Control, Family Planning, Women's Empowerment, and Child Protection (DPPKBP3A) of Buleleng Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. The findings indicate that child marriage prevention policies in Buleleng Regency have been implemented through various programs, such as the Adolescent Family Development (BKR) and the Generasi Berencana (GenRe) Forum. However, the implementation of these policies still faces several challenges, including limited human resources and budget constraints, as well as a lack of coordination among stakeholders. This study recommends enhancing inter-agency coordination, strengthening the role of traditional and community leaders in child marriage prevention, and allocating more adequate resources to support the sustainability of child marriage prevention programs in Buleleng Regency.
