A Rare Solitary Extradigital Glomangioma in an Adult Male
Glomangioma is the most common variant of glomus tumor which arises from the glomus body, a neuromyoarterial structure that surrounds the cutaneous venous system found in the reticular dermis and mainly regulates temperature. It mostly affects the subungual area and is seldom seen in other body parts. Herein, we report a rare case of a 56-year-old male with solitary extradigital glomangioma on the posterolateral aspect of the left arm for 2 years with dermoscopic, histopathology, and immunohistochemical findings.
