Research on low-altitude communication network simulation technology

Low-altitude economy is a strategic emerging industry with long industrial chain and wide coverage. It represents the development direction of new quality productivity. The quality of low-altitude communication network is the basis of low-altitude economy. At present, the evaluation of low-altitude network quality is mostly carried out by UAV flight test. However, there are some problems such as limited test area, low test efficiency and high test cost. Therefore, a scale assessment could not be carried out. To solve this problem, a technical scheme of low-altitude network simulation is proposed in this paper. Based on the principle of electromagnetic propagation and geometrical optics, this paper uses data, mechanism and digital twin combined drive to study the simulation technology. The fusion research of ground propagation model and air propagation model is carried out. It realizes high precision simulation of low-altitude network. After comparative analysis, the accuracy of RSRP and SINR reached 93.87% and 80.76% in the space area of 120 meters, 200 meters and 300 meters. The low-altitude simulation scheme proposed in this paper fits well with the flight test results. Low-altitude network simulation will play an important role in the future low-altitude network quality evaluation, network planning and optimized operation and maintenance.
