SMARCA4-deficient Non–small Cell Lung Cancer on 18F-FDG PET/CT
A 70-year-old man, a heavy smoker, presented with multiple lesions in both lungs during a computed tomography check-up. The largest nodule in the upper lobe of the right lung indicated a high malignancy risk. Subsequent positron emission tomography/computed tomography showed the largest nodule with a high avidity of 18 F-FDG (SUVmax: 5.59). Curative surgery removed the nodule, and pathologic examination confirmed that the nodule was SMARCA4-deficient non–small cell lung cancer.
