CONQUISTAS E DESAFIOS DO GRUPO DE MULHERES APICULTORAS DO PROJETO DE ASSENTAMENTO SÃO MANOEL, APODI, RN.
This work aimed to analyze the changes that occurred in the way of life of a group of women beekeepers from the São Manoel Settlement Project (Apodi – RN), based on the process of political and productive organization, as well as seeking to understand how this situation has been reflected by the residents of the settlement with regard to the relations of force and power that constitute the gender issue. We sought to highlight the achievements and challenges of a group of women, within the settlement, strengthened through the process of self-organization and political formation, with a productive organization of beekeeping in a collective way and commercialization from a Solidarity Economy perspective. As a methodological procedure, participant research was carried out, in which we sought to involve beekeepers, so that they could narrate their trajectories before and after the formation of the group. Data were collected through workshops and informal conversations, in addition, bibliographical and documentary research and free observations were carried out. These changes are expressed not only by the financial return, but mainly by the workers' perception of their condition and the contribution to their self-esteem, based on the achievements that have occurred in their lives.
