Family Sustainability Factors Among Muslim Converts from Perspective of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): A Multigroup Analysis Using Structural Equation Modeling

Objectives: This paper aimed to provide better support and promote sustainability intercultural harmony and religion in a religious society with specific focus on SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) it is important to understand the factors that influence the decision of converts to leave their mark on traditional festivals celebrated by their non-Muslim family members. Therefore, we conducted this study to identify the factors that motivate converts to participate in their original festival Theoretical Framework: This study will produce a research framework based on a statistical analysis of models to assess factors that influence family sustainability among Muslim converts. Method: This quantitative study used a sample of 485 converts. We also used SmartPLS 4.0 to look at the data, focusing on the structural model of the relationship between factors like faith (FH), knowledge (KNW), customs (CM), and exposure (EX) as well as the level of satisfaction at the family sustainability factor (FSF) Results and Discussion: The study results show that factors such as exposure, knowledge, and customs play an important role in helping converts decide to get involved in their original celebration. According to statistical tests, these factors significantly affect converts' level of involvement in the festival, whereas the faith factor does not show a significant effect. We also performed multigroup analysis (MGA) to further analyse the data Research Implications: The impact of the field study conducted can be used as an indicator of creating sustainability in family life despite different religions; for example, celebrating the original family's festival days despite having different religions and beliefs. Originality/Value: We found significant differences between males and females regarding the influence of exposure, knowledge, and other factors. On the other hand, the effects of faith were not affected by gender. This study highlights the importance of gender preferences for satisfaction at family sustainability factors. Notably, these elements do not contribute equally to the decision-making progression of male and female converts, as some aspects are more significant than others for each gender.
