A PSICANÁLISE FRENTE À CRISE PSICÓTICA: POTENCIALIDADES DE INTERVENÇÃO.
This article addresses the limits and possibilities of psychoanalysis in the intervention of psychotic crises. It starts from the importance of understanding psychoanalysis as an approach that can access unconscious conflicts, particularly in critical contexts such as psychotic crises. The study aims to define psychotic crises, describe the main interventions and treatments available, and analyze the role of psychoanalysis in managing these crises. This research is based on a literature review, examining studies from databases such as SciELO and Pepsic, with no temporal restrictions to include both classical and contemporary authors relevant to the topic. The findings indicate that psychoanalysis contributes significantly to understanding the subjective aspects of psychosis and may be effective in long-term interventions. However, limitations were identified in acute crises. It is concluded that, although psychoanalysis offers a solid theoretical foundation and valuable insights into the treatment of psychosis, its effectiveness in acute crisis contexts can be enhanced when combined with other approaches. Therefore, it is recommended to investigate integrated approaches and training for crisis intervention to improve therapeutic care in cases of acute psychosis.
