Hubungan Kebutuhan Spiritual dengan Kecemasan Pada Lansia di Kelurahan Lebakjaya Garut

ABSTRACT Human life ages naturally. Almost all body systems experience aging, but some systems experience a decline in function at different times. Apart from physical changes, there are also psychosocial changes, one of which is anxiety and spiritual changes. This research is to determine the relationship between spiritual needs and anxiety in the elderly in Lebakjaya Garut Village. Using quantitative research with correlational research type. The instrument used to measure the patient's spiritual level is a spiritual scale adapted from a spiritual instrument compiled by Underwood and Teresi in 2002, namely the Daily Spiritual Experience Scale (DSES). This DSES instrument has also been used previously by Lestari (2018), then for anxiety the researchers took the GAI questionnaire, the sample was 270 people. The results of the Spearman rank correlation analysis show a significant value of 0.014 (<0.05) and a correlation value of -0.159. Based on this value, it can be interpreted that the spiritual level and anxiety level of respondents in this study have a unidirectional relationship and show a very weak relationship strength. Ho is accepted, meaning there is no significant influence between the independent variable and the dependent variable simultaneously or together. Hampir semua sistem tubuh mengalami penuaan, tetapi beberapa sistem mengalami penurunan fungsi pada waktu yang berbeda. Selain terdapat perubahan fisik maka terjadi pula perubahan psikososial yang salah satunya kecemasan serta perubahan spiritual. Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kebutuhan spiritual dengan kecemasan pada lansia di Kelurahan Lebakjaya Garut. Menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat spiritual pasien adalah skala spiritual yang diadaptasi dari instrumen spiritual yang disusun oleh Underwood dan Teresi pada tahun 2002 yaitu Daily Spiritual Experience Scale (DSES). Intrumen DSES ini juga telah digunakan sebelumnya oleh Lestari (2018) , selanjutnya untuk kecemasan peneliti mengambil kuesioner GAI, sampelnya berjumlah 270 orang. Hasil analisis korelasi rank spearman menunjukkan nilai signifikan 0.014 (<0.05) dan nilai korelasi -0.159. Berdasarkan nilai tersebut dapat diartikan bahwa tingkat spiritual dengan tingkat kecemasan responden dalam penelitian ini memiliki hubungan tidak searah dan menunjukkan kekuatan hubungan yang sangat lemah. Ho diterima artinya tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikansi antara variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen secara simultan atau bersama-sama. Kata Kunci: Spiritual, Kecemasan, Lansia
