Analysis and integral assessment of the technical and ecological state of the reclamation complex of the Russian Federation

It is noted that irrigation and drainage systems are complex natural and technical objects that operate in conditions of uncertainty of the dynamic impact of a complex of external and internal factors that change in space and time. Low values of the efficiency coefficient caused by significant losses of irrigation water lead not only to a decrease in the efficiency of the use of reclaimed land, but also to environmental degradation. To justify and select a rational strategy for the modernization of the reclamation complex, it is necessary to form a database of initial data for assessing the technical and functional parameters of reclamation systems, the agroecological state and the level of use of reclaimed land. The purpose of the study was to analyze and integral assessment of the technical and ecological state of the reclamation complex (irrigation and drainage systems) of the Russian Federation. It is noted that most of the facilities (84%) by their technical condition belong to the third and fourth classes, including 70% of irrigation and 88% of drainage systems, 100% of separately located hydraulic structures and canals. Such reclamation facilities do not work efficiently and require recon-struction or major repairs.
