The research of the reclamation state of the soils of the Mugan steppe
To study the modern reclamation state of the soils of the Mugan steppe, comprehensive stud-ies were carried out. For this, characteristic key sites were selected that have different degrees of salinization. The results of the study show that the distributions of soil properties along the profiles of the studied soils have differences. On weakly and moderately saline soils, the amount of physical clay varied within 45.82...56.80%, the density of the solid phase – 2.50...2.70 g/cm3, bulk weight – 1.22...1.43 g/cm3, рН – 7,5…7,8, humus content – 0.57…2.65%, Na+ – 5,85…6,73%. On highly saline soils, the content of physical clay varied within 55.96...67.85%, the density of the solid phase – 2.65...2.73 g/cm3, bulk weight – 1.38...1.59 g/cm3, рН – 8,1…8,6, humus content – 0.35... 2.19%, Na+ – 7,85…13,55%. The level and mineralization of groundwater were respectively 2.00... 2.85 m and 2.45... 5.67 g/l, in 2024 their values were respectively equal to 2.25... 3.20 m and 2.15... 4.28 g/l. Mineralization of drainage waters during this period varied within 6.85... 8.54 g/l and 5.28... 6.34 g/l.
