A multi-factor access scheme for online english teaching system based on cloud computing

With the growth of economic globalization, increasing attention has been given to the importance of English. As a significant component of the modern educational domain, online English teaching system provide users with an effective platform for English learning. Notably, online teaching system based on cloud computing, due to their convenience and efficiency, are emerging as a new trend in language learning. However, as a large number of users store their private data in the cloud within these systems, impersonation of legitimate users could lead to potential data breaches. To prevent these weaknesses, the scheme integrates biometrics, passwords and smart card as three factors to authenticate user, ensuring secure access to the cloud server. Moreover, we use chebyshev chaotic map to generate a shared session key, ensuring the full security of the session key. This paper conducts a formal security analysis using Burrows-Abadi-Needham (BAN) logic and the random oracle model. Moreover, heuristic and performance analyses indicate that the scheme enhances authentication efficiency while providing anonymity and user-friendliness.
