Nursing of a stroke patient with shoulder-hand syndrome treated by ultrasound-pharmaceutical transdermal therapy combined with acupoint application

This paper summarized the nursing a stroke patient with shoulder-hand syndrome treated by ultrasound-pharmaceutical transdermal therapy combined with acupoint application. Based on the assessment on muscle strength and activity of daily living, the ultrasound-pharmaceutical transdermal therapy combined with acupoint application were used to relieve the clinical symptoms and improve upper limb motor function and shoulder joint function of the patients. In addition, nursing interventions on daily life, diet, rehabilitation exercise and emotion regualtion were carried out to improve the body function and quality of life during treatement.
