Applying Artificial Intelligence in English Language Learning for Customized Education
This paper explores the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing English language learning through customized education. The traditional one-size-fits-all approach in language instruction often fails to meet the diverse needs of learners with varying levels of proficiency. To address this challenge, AI-driven systems offer a promising solution by providing personalized and adaptive learning experiences. The study focuses on integrating advanced machine learning models such as BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) and MLP-GRU (Multi-Layer Perceptron - Gated Recurrent Unit) to analyze learner inputs and generate dynamic content tailored to individual needs. BERT is utilized for its capability to understand complex language patterns, thereby enabling the system to assess learner proficiency accurately. The MLP-GRU model is then employed to create and modify educational content in real-time, ensuring that the material remains relevant and challenging as learners progress. The effectiveness of this approach is evaluated through performance metrics, which indicate significant improvements in learner outcomes across various proficiency levels. Additionally, the continuous feedback loop embedded in the system allows for ongoing refinement of the AI algorithms, further enhancing the personalization and effectiveness of the educational content. The findings suggest that AI-driven dynamic content generation can significantly improve the learning experience by offering tailored educational resources that evolve with the learner's needs. This approach not only boosts engagement and motivation but also accelerates proficiency development, making it a valuable tool in modern language education. The proposed method is implemented in Python Software and has an accuracy of 99.12% which is higher than other efficient methods like Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (biLSTM), LSTM and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN).
