Increasing Learner Engagement in English Language Acquisition Through AI-Powered Gamification
In today's dynamic world of learning, it is crucial to boost learners” interest in the learning of the English language more than ever. Such patterns of learning are unobtainable in traditional settings and students often lose interest in classroom sessions as well as do not get the attention that they require for improvement. Adaptive learning system and gamified education systems have been developed but they have limitations in catering and sustaining learners” needs. To overcome these challenges, this paper proposes a new approach that combines RL with AI-based gamification strategy. The proposed system incorporates RL algorithms to continually define the students” behaviors and the categories that they favor in an efficient and timely manner. Specifically, by applying the features of gamification, the given approach will enhance the learner”s interest, self-generated motivation, and the efficiency of their learning. As an outcome, the framework has the ability to be updated through interactions with the students and adapt content and process of education to enhance the learning process. A performance measure of the proposed system was done which shown an enormous improvement over conventional approach. In particular, the system reached the cross-validation accuracy of 0. 98 It includes a recall of 0. 89 thus showing how it can improve the level of learner”s engagement while at the same time providing a personalized learning environment. These results show that, by combining RL and gamification, it is possible to positively alter the way individuals approach learning English, as well as improve the method's effectiveness and efficiency.
