A utilização do termo clave rítmica em relação aos padrões percussivos brasileiros: (des)conexões musicais na América Latina

In this text we propose the study and analysis of the application of the term rhythmic key within the context of percussion in Brazil. Our objective is to verify how effective and comprehensive the use of this concept represents in this particular case. We have noticed that within the universe of Brazilian percussion, whether in its artistic practices or in teaching-learning aspects, this nomenclature has been applied. We will use references from researchers who are attentive to musical productions in the Americas, especially in musical processes carried out from the African diaspora. We put this theme up for debate as evidence of the relevance of research into Brazilian rhythms and percussions in a broad way, trying to contemplate their diversity.
