Cross-Cultural Exchange and Practice in Dance Education: A Case Study of the Dance School of Yunnan Arts University
This paper focuses on the important role of dance education in cross-cultural exchange, using Yunnan Arts University as a case study to explore its achievements in innovation and inheritance, international exchange, and cultural sharing. Through international cooperation and exchange, the Dance School of Yunnan Arts University has built a multicultural communication platform that promotes dialogue and mutual learning between dance arts from different cultural backgrounds. By hosting international events such as the "Asia-Pacific Dance Week," the university has not only implemented the goals set by General Secretary Xi Jinping for Yunnan to become a hub for South and Southeast Asia, but has also advanced the internationalization and professional development of dance education. This contributes to building a shared future for humanity through the power of dance education. This study provides a practical perspective for the role of dance education in global cultural exchange.
