Seismic Response Study of Cross-Interchange Subway Station Based on Shaking Table Test

As a key transportation hub of the urban metro, the interchange station plays an important role in speeding up the flow of passengers and improving the efficiency of subway operation, and its seismic safety has attracted enough attention. In this paper, a large-scale shaking table model test was designed and implemented with a typical cross-interchange station as the research object, and the experimental observation results were obtained. In addition, the numerical analysis model of soil-cross-interchange station interaction was established, and the feasibility of the numerical method was verified by experimental data. Furthermore, the effects of ground motion characteristics, seismic intensity, and site conditions (soil shear wave velocity, [Formula: see text]) on the seismic response of underground structures were discussed in detail. The results show that, the axial force of the middle column is increased significantly by seismic action compared with the static force and the maximum increase can be 65% under different ground motion excitation. Additionally, [Formula: see text] is another key factor affecting the structural internal force and relative deformation (RD). Specifically, when [Formula: see text] is 60[Formula: see text]m/s, the column-end bending moment and RD increase by 86% and 122%, respectively, compared to [Formula: see text] 120[Formula: see text]m/s. The spatial influence range of the structure on the interchange node and the end wall is 1.5 times and 0.5 times of the structural width, respectively. The results of this study can provide a reference for the seismic design of complex underground structures and transfer stations.
