Mechanistic Insights into the Synthesis of Nickel‐Graphene Nanostructures for Gas Sensors (Small Methods 2/2025)
Inside Front Cover In article number 2400245, Kisailus and co-workers describe a process involving electrospinning polymer solutions impregnated with transition metal ions to yield nanofibers that are annealed to form graphitic-metal nanoparticle-based fibers for energy and environmental applications. The performance of these materials is strongly related to the ability to control the material parameters and thus, reveal growth mechanisms that yield these high-performance materials.
