The state and prospects of international financial assistance to Ukraine

Introduction: international financial assistance to Ukraine during the open military aggression by the Russian Federation necessitated the need for more active attraction of funds that can ensure the country's economic stability and the ability to fulfill defense tasks. International financial donors are focused on solving such needs. The research problem was the interdependence of the state and prospects of international financial assistance in accordance with the results of the assessment of their use. The purpose of this study is to analyze the state and prospects of international financial assistance in Ukraine, taking into account the specifics of its provision. The research methods are the interpretation of the obtained statistical indicators, analysis of the dynamics of leading indicators, generalization of conclusions based on the results obtained. As a result of the study, it was found that the main effect achieved during the implementation of international financial assistance was the financial and economic reliability of the country, which was maintained despite many adverse factors and the Ukrainian economy did not suffer a critical breakdown. The monitoring of the targeted use of international financial assistance funds proved the effectiveness and efficiency of their use, which allowed Ukraine to attract new funds for 2024.
