Hubungan Kesejahteraan Finansial Dengan Tingkat Stress Kerja Pada Karyawan Di Kota Surabaya
This study investigates the relationship between financial well-being and work stress among employees in Surabaya. Financial well-being reflects an individual's ability to manage financial resources effectively, while work stress emerges from excessive workplace demands. Using a quantitative descriptive correlational method, data were collected from 107 respondents via surveys and analyzed through statistical tests, including validity reliability tests, normality tests, linearity tests, pearson correlation tests, and t-tests. The results reveal a significant but weak positive correlation (Pearson correlation = 0.293, p = 0.002), indicating that employees with stable financial conditions are better equipped to handle workplace stress. Conversely, financial instability exacerbates stress, negatively impacting mental health and workplace productivity. The research confirmed the validity and reliability of the instruments used, ensuring accurate measurement of the variables. These findings underscore the importance of addressing financial well-being in workplace management, recommending organizations to implement financial literacy training and provide benefits to alleviate financial pressures. Such interventions can improve employee resilience, reduce stress, and foster a healthier and more productive work environment.
